I will state again that the attack was horrendous and vile. However, this reminds me of William of Norwich, an English boy supposedly ritually murdered by Jews in the 12th century. Fatah, unhappy that Ortiz baptized Muslims, attacked him, and claimed responsibility. It was clearly Fatah's modus operandi. On the other hand, there is not a shred of evidence that Jews did this, and never has their been a prior case of this. The Christian community has used this tragic attack as an opportunity to slander and defame the Torah-observant community as a whole. And you are part of it!

BK,

You have totally misunderstood me. I have merely presented the facts regarding the investigation to date. My hope is that it was not radical Jews who did this to Ami! Surely, it had to be Ami's natural enemy... Islam/Jihad... and not his Jewish brothers!

I have very dear friends and family who live in Israel and I am getting the news regarding the investigation from the horses' mouth. The police cannot rule out Jewish suspects at this time. If you would take the time to read what I wrote, you would see that I presented the case as stands given all the known facts to this point. Be reasonable here. Besides, being Jewish doesn't automatically put someone above being a bad person.

I am having a really hard time accepting that it could have been other Jews who did this to Ami. So before you go off half cocked, why don't we wait to see what the investigation yields in the outcome... and let's pray it wasn't other Jews who did this to him.

The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Ekrima Said Sabri, issued a fatwa (religious order) in the mid-1990s calling to kill Ortiz. The fatwa even appeared in the al-Quds newspaper. It appears, however, that the Messianic community would prefer to play the victim and slander legitimate anti-missionary groups.

See http://www.yadlachimusa.org.il/Index.asp?CategoryID=192&ArticleID=655

BTW I've created a new blog at moshiach-truth.blogspot.com dedicated to fighting missionaries and Messianic groups. You are welcome for debate should you so desire.
